So what is an automation system. Well it's whatever you want it to
be. For the last few years people have
been talking about Smart Homes
and automation of your home. Effectivly any item within your home that
can be controlled can be automated. You can arrive home, press a button
have all the lights you like on turn on, your music will start, the
blinds will close or open, the watering system will turn on...etc
etc etc
Perhaps you want to distribute music from a server to every room in
the house. Thats easy, you can have radio, cds, dvd, videos, security
cameras distributed to every room if you like. Maybe the Kids are having a party and you want to keep an eye on
them......No problem, Connect to your security cameras over your phone
and see what they are up too. It's raining and the watering system is due to start.......connect
via your work computer and delay the watering for 24 hours. Ok Fantastic we can do all this groovy stuff......How does it work? Well by using a crestron processor we can configure it to run every
device in the house. It requires substantial programming so you
requirments must be specific right from the start. Touch pads & sensors
are used to switch the devices on and off as required.
